About our Mixology Parties:

A Mixology Party at The Studio Paint Bar is unlike anywhere else. “How?”, you might ask:

• our drinks are designed to show you the basics of a cocktail, while exploring alternate ways to elevate the drink and incorporate sight, taste, feel and smell

What’s In Your Mixology Kit?

Your kit has been customized with The Studio Paint Bar and your event hosts. Here are the list of supplies that should be included in your kit:

1. Tequila

2. bar spoon

3. shaker tin

4. bar glass

5. strainer

6. lemon (fresh lemon and/ or Real Lemon Lemon)

7. jigger

8. butterfly pea flower leaves

9. juice

Preparation for the mixology session:

• soak 3 oz. of tequila with 7-9 butterfly pea flower leaves at least 4-6 hours before the event start time

What else do I need for my set-up?

• 2 cups of ice in a bowl or in a large cup

• at least 2 glass cups to put your cocktails into

• a bar rag or extra paper towel

Recipe: The Reverse Tequila Sour

• To make simple syrup, mix one part sugar and one part warm water.

• Fill the glass with ice.

• In a cocktail shaker, add the lemon juice, and simple syrup, if using. Shake until combined and chilled. Slowly pour into the glass over the ice.

• Add the butterfly pea infused tequila (1 oz.)

• Using a spoon, pour the juice on top and watch the magic happen! Drink will turn from blue to purple.

• Stir to fully combine before drinking. Garnish with a lemon round.

• Set-up in a kitchen or near a sink so you can be close to a tap with running water and extra paper towel or rag.

• A laptop gives you the best connection for a Zoom event. It allows you to use all of the features, rather than accessing it on a phone or iPad.

• Hook your big screen to your device to share with more than 2 participants.
