About our Wine Tasting Parties:

A Wine Tasting Party at The Studio Paint Bar is unlike anywhere else. “How?”, you might ask:

  • our event hosts are charismatic, knowledgable and entertaining

  • our events are designed to show you the basics of a wine tasting, while exploring alternate ways to elevate your drinking experience and learn more while having fun

  • we incorporate wine education, history and tasting techniques into a fun-filled party

  • we have fine-tuned our virtual sessions to bring you the most seamless online experience

What’s In A Wine Tasting Kit?

We always customize our kits to the wines you will be creating so please note, you will receive different wines and/or food pairings with your kit. Contact your event organizer if you have questions about the kit content or dietary restrictions. You may have perishable items in your kit that need to be refrigerated. Open your kit as soon as possible and take out all the contents.

A typical kit will include:

  • wine(s)

  • tasting place mat guide

What else do I need for my set-up?

  • chill white wine in the fridge at least 6 hours before the event begins

  • 2-3 clean wine glasses

  • wine opener

  • if you don’t have a snack included in your kit, you may want to have a box of crackers and about 2-3 tbsp of ground coffee to reset your palette

  • a bar rag or extra paper towel for spilled wine (hopefully we don’t spill anything!)

  • note: your event organizer may have sent you an email with other ingredients and supplies to purchase before the event begins

What is a typical set-up for a wine tasting?

  1. Make sure you log-in and test the link at least 10 minutes before the event start time. You will be muted upon entry.

  2. If you didn’t receive any food pairings with your wine tasting kit, we suggest some crackers, fruits/ veggies and nuts to pair with any wine.

  3. Let’s taste wine! This is not just a lesson in drinking wine, it’s a new party experience that everyone will enjoy!

Pro Tips:

  • Set-up in a kitchen or near a sink so you can be close to a tap with running water and extra paper towel or rag.

  • A laptop gives you the best connection for a Zoom event. It allows you to use all of the features, rather than accessing it on a phone or iPad.

  • Hook your big screen to your device to share with more than 2 participants.
