Paint Kit Set-Up
About our Paint Parties:
A Paint Party at The Studio Paint Bar is unlike anywhere else. “How?”, you might ask:
our instructors are trained to guide artists of any skill-set (ranging from ‘never painted before’ to ‘experienced oil painter’)
our paintings are designed to be completed within a shorter time-span than a typical painting
we incorporate art education, history and technique into a fun-filled party
we have fine-tuned our virtual sessions to bring you the most seamless online experience
What’s In A Deluxe Paint Kit?
Canvas
Acrylic Paint (white, black, blue, red, yellow)
Paintbrushes
Mixing Tray
Blotting napkin
Disposable table cloth
What else do I need for my set-up?
A clear cup (so you don’t drink out of it!) with an inch of water so you can wash the paint off your paintbrushes. As well as, extra napkins or a rag.
What happens if I get paint on fabric?
If there are small specks of paint that get on your clothes or a cloth item, wait until it dries and it will typically flake off OR wait until the paint dries and then use rubbing alcohol (over 70%) and saturate it with alcohol, rub off.
Want to paint again?
Check out a Public Paint Party on our calendar. Typically, our Public Paint Parties are held on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00PM.
Pro Tips:
Set-up in a kitchen or near a sink so you can be close to a tap with running water and have access to extra paper towel or rag.
A laptop gives you the best connection for a Zoom event. It allows you to use all of the features, rather than accessing it on a phone or iPad.
Hook your big screen to your device to share with more than 2 participants.
